Example: $400,000 sales price with owner occupied residential purchase $300,000 loan amount

 

The first $250,000 of the sales price is calculated $250 x $4.67 = $1,167.50

The next $150,000 of the sales price is calculated $150 x $3.97 = $595.50

 

The 2 owners’ and title premiums are added together:

$1,167.50 & $595.50 plus $50 simultaneous = $1,813.

 

The amount that goes on line 1103 (owner’s title insurance) is $1,813 minus the loan policy amount $805 (from line 1101) = $1,008 for Owners Advantage Residential Title Insurance on line 1103
